Yes. Yes. And yes. This is going to be sick. We absolutely love that these superfight events are starting to come around. The fighters get paid, the public gets the juicy matchups that they crave, and in this case it’s a lineup so badass that the mere mention of it forces you to drool in anticipation. Oh yeah, and it’s being promoted as submission only, too. Yessssssss.

Ready? Here’s the competitors and the matchups:

Marcus “Buchecha” Almeida x Roger Gracie
Andre Galvao x Ryron Gracie
Otavio Souza x Kron Gracie
Rafael Lovato Jr x Kayron Gracie
Jeff Glover x Caio Terra
Dean Lister x Xande Ribeiro

Is your mind blown yet? Because if it isn’t you better check for a pulse. The date we’ve seen thrown around is October 14th, 2012 and it will be streamed live on metamoris.com. As soon as more details are available we will post them. In the meantime get hyped by this promo video.

Wounder if it is going be to be free stream…. that would be nice. I would love to see more jiu jitsu and grappling events streamed free with advertising, ADCC, Mundials and so on, I think lots of people would love to watch but refuse to pay 40 or 50 dollars…. anyway sick either way and we can watch on youtube later neway!

I agree, but it’s probably still going to be a while because of the revenue that they’re generating right now. Plus, there are some pretty hefty costs associated with production, like Budo’s 12 camera World’s setup.

That said, I think the market and the advertisers are getting big enough that if they worked it right they would be able to supplement the costs with ad revenue and still make some money. Time will tell, but I think we’re paying for awhile still.

But yeah, this is still a sick event, and yes, the fights will make it up somewhere!
