I’m sure at one time or another you’ve attacked your opponent’s arm when you’re in side control. And while you may have had success, I’m sure at some point your squirming and shrimping opponent has defended. So what’s a good way to curb their enthusiasm? Lock a triangle on them to keep them there. Kind of like attacking a trapped arm in a normal triangle, here you get the benefit of attacking the other. Can’t get the arm? Finish the triangle.
